Frequently Asked Questions
How can I adjust the size of a specific word in the word cloud?
The size of words in the cloud is automatically calculated based on their frequency (weight). To adjust a specific word's size:
- Find the word in the left word list
- Modify its "Frequency" value - higher values make the word larger
- Click the "Visualize" button to regenerate the word cloud
I don't want some common words in my imported text to be displayed. How can I filter them?
You can filter unwanted words by:
- After importing text, find these common words in the left word list
- Use the "Remove" button to remove them from the list
- Or set their frequency value to 0
- For Chinese text, the system automatically filters common stop words (like "的", "了", "是", etc.)
The generated word cloud image quality isn't high enough. How can I increase the resolution?
To increase the resolution of the word cloud image:
- Use the "Size" option in the toolbar to adjust the width and height of the word cloud canvas
- Recommended sizes for high-quality printing: at least 1200 pixels wide and 800 pixels high
- Regenerate the word cloud after adjusting the size, then download
- Note: Larger sizes may require more processing time
Exporting Your Word Cloud
Can I export my word cloud as an SVG for print?
Yes. Wordcloud.art supports SVG export, which is vector-based and scales to any print size without losing quality. Use the Download button in the toolbar and select SVG format.
How do I export a high-resolution word cloud for printing?
Click the Export/Download button and select PNG at the highest available resolution. For poster-size prints (A2, A1), we recommend using the SVG format. Adjust the canvas size in the toolbar before generating for best results.
What export formats are available?
PNG – High-resolution raster image, ideal for digital sharing and presentations.
SVG – Vector format, perfect for large-format printing and scaling without quality loss.
